LESSON 05 OF 8 · 20–25 MIN · Paid Ads & Influencer Academy

X (Twitter) Ads setup

X Ads Manager from zero: account, campaign objectives, follower look-alike targeting of trading accounts, creatives, budget — and the financial-services rules.

X is where retail traders talk in public. Partners use X in two ways: organic (Threads Academy covers the same mechanics) and paid X Ads, which can put a post in front of the followers of trading, crypto and finance accounts in your GEO at a low cost per engagement.

Policy: X's Financial Products and Services policy restricts binary options and requires 18+ targeting and country authorisation for most financial promotions. The same rule as elsewhere applies: advertise your educational content and your community, not the broker, returns or bonuses.

  1. Account. ads.x.com with your X profile (make the profile look like a real analyst: name, bio, pinned post with your Telegram link). Add billing, choose the currency of your GEO. New accounts may need a few days of organic posting before ads are accepted.
  2. Objective. Start with Engagement (cheap, grows the post) or Website traffic (if you have a landing page with the X Pixel). Followers campaigns are useful once your profile converts to Telegram joins by itself.
  3. Targeting. GEO + language + age 18+. Audience: "Follower look-alikes" of 15–30 trading, forex, crypto and finance-news accounts popular in your country, plus keywords ("forex", "binary", "trading signals", "crypto") and interests (Investing, Personal finance). One campaign per GEO.
  4. Creative. A native-looking post: a chart screenshot with one lesson, or a 20–40 s video of you explaining one trade honestly. First line = the lesson, last line = "Daily recaps in my Telegram (link in bio)". No balance screenshots, no profit claims.
  5. Budget and bid. Daily budget $10–$20, automatic bid for the first week. X spends unevenly — set a total campaign budget too.
  6. Measure. X Ads shows engagements, link clicks and cost per result; your Bynix Statistics shows what matters through the sub-ID of the link in your bio / Telegram (?sub=xads_ng). Judge on registrations and FTDs after 10 days.

Budget idea

$100–$200 for a 10-day test in one GEO. X is cheaper per click than Meta in Nigeria, Kenya, India and Brazil but converts a little weaker because the audience is more mixed.

Result idea

Cost per engagement $0.01–$0.05, cost per link click $0.10–$0.40. A $150 test brings 400–1,200 clicks, 150–400 Telegram joins and 5–20 FTDs when the follow-up is fast. The compounding benefit is the profile: a few hundred new followers keep seeing your organic posts for free.

Agency help

For country authorisation of financial promotions on X, agency accounts or creative production, ask your affiliate manager — the partner team can point you to agencies that already run X campaigns for Bynix partners.
