LESSON 06 OF 8 · 20–25 MIN · Paid Ads & Influencer Academy
Budgets and expected results by channel
How much to spend on a first test per channel, what the numbers should look like at each funnel step, and the one rule for scaling paid traffic.
Paid traffic is not "spend more, earn more". It is a measured loop: a small test, one number per step, fix the weakest step, then scale the channel that already pays back. This lesson gives you the test budgets and the benchmarks to judge them — editorial estimates from partners in 2026, not promises; your GEO, language and follow-up will move every number.
The funnel you measure for every channel: impressions → clicks (CTR) → channel joins or landing visits → registrations → FTDs → active traders. Bynix Statistics shows the last three per sub-ID; the ad platform shows the first three. Write both down daily on one sheet.
- Influencer marketing: test $300–$800 (3–5 micro-creators). Expect 30–120 registrations and 5–25 FTDs per good post; cost per FTD $15–$40. Scale by repeating the best creator monthly and adding one new one at a time.
- Telegram Ads: test €150–€300 per GEO. Expect CTR 0.3–1%, 10–40 FTDs, cost per FTD $8–$25. Scale by adding channel lists and GEOs, keep CPM near the minimum.
- Meta Ads: test $150–$300 per GEO. Expect CPC $0.05–$0.50, 8–35 FTDs, cost per FTD $10–$30. Scale by moving budget to the winning creative and Reels placement; expect account reviews.
- Google Ads: test $150–$250 over 14 days. Expect 400–1,200 clicks, 10–30 FTDs, cost per FTD $8–$20 on brand and how-to keywords. Scale by adding exact-match converting search terms, slowly.
- X Ads: test $100–$200. Expect cost per click $0.10–$0.40, 5–20 FTDs, cost per FTD $10–$30. Scale by widening the follower look-alike list.
What a healthy funnel looks like in any channel: 15–25% of clicks reach a registration (through your channel or landing), 15–30% of registrations deposit within 14 days, and your cost per FTD stays under about 40% of the commission a trader from that GEO brings you in the first 90 days. Ask your affiliate manager for the average 90-day value per FTD in your GEO — it tells you the maximum you can pay.
The one scaling rule: raise the budget of a campaign by at most 20–30% every 3 days and only while cost per FTD holds. Doubling a budget overnight resets the ad platform's learning and usually doubles the cost per result for a week.
Where partners lose money: judging after 48 hours; running five channels with $50 each; sending paid clicks straight to the broker link without a channel or landing in between; no follow-up DM for registered users; and ignoring the payday / evening timing from the Insights decks.
Agency help
When your total monthly ad budget passes roughly $1,000, or when you want media buying handled while you focus on content and conversion, your affiliate manager can introduce performance agencies that work with Bynix partners — usually for a fee of 10–20% of spend or a share of commission. Ask for references and a 30-day test before any long contract.
