Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram): setup and the policy reality

Business Portfolio, Pixel and Conversions API, campaign structure, audiences and creatives — plus the financial-products rules that decide whether your account survives.

The policy reality first, because it decides everything else: Meta's Financial Products and Services policy prohibits advertising binary options outright, and every other financial promotion needs clear risk wording and an 18+ audience. Ads that name the broker, show a trade result or mention a bonus are rejected or get the ad account disabled — sometimes the Business Portfolio with it.

What Bynix partners run instead: ads for their OWN educational asset — a Telegram channel about market analysis, a YouTube channel, a blog with a "how I deposit with bKash" guide, a free e-book on risk management. The ad never mentions the broker or returns; the landing (channel or page) does the Bynix introduction, with the 18+ and risk notices visible. This is the only durable way to use Meta traffic for this niche.

  1. Set up the structure. business.facebook.com → create a Business Portfolio → add a Facebook Page (your personal brand, not "Bynix") and an Instagram account → create an Ad account in your currency → add a payment method. Verify the business if the option appears; verified portfolios survive reviews better.
  2. Install tracking. Create a Meta Pixel (Events Manager), install it on your landing page (or use a simple one-page site such as a Carrd / Notion-style page with the Telegram button). Add the Conversions API through a partner integration if your landing tool supports it — iOS tracking without CAPI loses 30–50% of events. Define one event: "Lead" or "Contact" when the Telegram button is clicked.
  3. Create the campaign. Objective: Traffic (to a channel link) or Leads / Engagement (to a page with a form or a Messenger/WhatsApp conversation). Advantage+ campaign budget on, $10–$20 a day for the test, one GEO per campaign, 18+ only, language set to the audience's language.
  4. Build audiences. Start broad with interests: Forex, Investment, Stock market, Cryptocurrency, Side business, Personal finance, plus "engaged shoppers" in LATAM / Africa. Exclude existing followers. Once you have 50+ leads, create a 1% Lookalike of the leads for the GEO.
  5. Creatives. Short vertical video (9:16, 15–30 s) of you talking about one honest lesson from trading, or a carousel of 3 chart screenshots with a lesson each. Headline about learning, not earning: "Daily market recaps in Bangla — join free". No balances, no profit numbers, no broker name on the first screen. Make 3–5 creatives; Meta picks the winner.
  6. Placements. Advantage+ placements for the test, then move the budget to Reels and Stories if they bring cheaper clicks (they usually do in Bynix GEOs).
  7. Launch, wait 48 hours, then judge. Read CPC, CTR, cost per lead in Ads Manager and — more important — registrations and FTDs in your Bynix Statistics through the sub-ID of the link in your channel (?sub=meta_bd).

Budget idea

$150–$300 for a 7–10 day test in one GEO ($15–$30 a day). Add money only when cost per Telegram join is under $0.50 in South Asia / Africa or under $1.50 in LATAM.

Result idea

CPC $0.05–$0.25 in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya; $0.15–$0.50 in Brazil. A $200 test typically brings 800–2,500 clicks, 300–900 Telegram joins, 40–150 registrations and 8–35 FTDs when the channel converts well. Expect at least one ad rejection per campaign — rewrite the words, do not argue in the appeal.

Agency help

Meta is where partners most often lose accounts. If you plan to spend more than $500 a month, want an agency ad account with higher trust and spend limits, or need creatives that already passed review, ask your affiliate manager before launching — Bynix works with performance agencies that run compliant campaigns for partners on a fee or revenue-share basis.

Checklist — what you leave with

  • Business Portfolio, Page and Ad account created
  • Pixel installed, one Lead event firing
  • Landing or channel with 18+ and risk wording
  • 3–5 creatives about learning, none mentioning the broker
  • Sub-ID link inside the channel, not in the ad
