How to Use Indicators on Bynix: Moving Averages, RSI, MACD and Bollinger Bands
A practical guide to the indicator panel on the Bynix chart — adding, configuring and combining moving averages, RSI, MACD and Bollinger Bands — and three simple indicator-based entries for 1–5 minute binary trades.
Indicators do not predict the future, but they turn a noisy chart into a handful of clear conditions you can trade consistently. This guide covers the four indicators most binary traders use on Bynix and how to combine them.
Adding an indicator
Tap the ••• chart tools button (or the indicators chip) → Indicators → choose one. Each indicator has its own settings (period, colours) and can be removed with the × on its chip above the chart. Main-chart indicators (MA, EMA, BOLL) draw on the candles; oscillators (RSI, MACD) open a pane below.
Moving averages (MA / EMA)
Two moving averages — a fast one (9) and a slow one (21) — tell you the short-term trend. Price above both and the fast above the slow = uptrend: prefer BUY trades. A cross of the fast through the slow is an early signal that the trend is turning.
RSI
RSI measures momentum on a 0–100 scale. Above 70 = overbought, below 30 = oversold. On the mean-reverting OTC markets an RSI extreme *plus* a pin bar at a level is a solid 1–3 minute reversal entry.
MACD
The MACD histogram flips from red to green when momentum turns. Use it as a confirmation for a moving-average cross rather than as a standalone signal.
Bollinger Bands
Bands widen when volatility rises and squeeze when it falls. Price touching the outer band in a ranging market often snaps back towards the middle — a classic SELL at the upper band / BUY at the lower band with a 1–2 minute expiry.
Three combined entries
- Trend pullback — price above MA 9/21, pulls back to the fast MA, RSI dips towards 50, then a green candle → BUY, 3-minute expiry.
- Band snap — flat MAs, price closes outside the Bollinger band with RSI over 70 → SELL, 1-minute expiry.
- Momentum cross — MA cross confirmed by MACD flipping colour → trade in the cross direction, 5-minute expiry.
Keep it simple
More than three indicators usually means contradictory signals. Save your favourite set — the chart remembers indicators per device — and test each entry on the demo before going live.
