Glossary
Every term from the lessons with a short explanation.
- Affiliate link
- Your personal URL (bynixbrokers.com/BYN…) that attributes every registration, deposit and trade to you for life.
- Sub-ID
- An extra tag on your link (?sub=yt1) to tell channels, videos or ads apart in Statistics.
- Registration (Reg)
- A trader created a Bynix account through your link.
- FTD
- First-time deposit — the trader's first real deposit. $50+ counts for FTD bonuses, levels and contests.
- Qualifying FTD
- An FTD that meets the minimum amount and passes fraud checks; the only ones counted for bonus tiers.
- Revenue share
- A percentage of what Bynix earns from your traders — 50% at Starter up to 80% at Legend.
- Turnover
- A fixed share of every trade volume of your traders, paid regardless of their result.
- Per-lot (Forex)
- A fixed amount per standard lot traded on Forex accounts referred by your Forex link.
- On hold
- Commission collects here first and is released to your balance every Monday 06:00 SGT.
- Level
- Your monthly tier (Starter → Legend) set by qualifying FTDs; resets on the 1st (SGT) from last month's FTDs.
- Postback
- An automatic HTTP call Bynix sends to your tracker or bot when an event (reg, FTD, deposit, commission) happens.
- Macro
- A placeholder in a postback URL ({click_id}, {amount}, {event}) replaced with the real value.
- Click ID
- A unique id for one click, passed through the link and returned in postbacks for matching.
- CR (conversion rate)
- Share of one step reaching the next: clicks → regs, regs → FTDs.
- CTR
- Click-through rate — clicks divided by impressions of your post, thumbnail or ad.
- LTV
- Lifetime value — all commission one trader generates for you over time.
- Retention
- How many of your traders still trade after 7 / 30 / 90 days.
- GEO
- The country/region of your audience — payment methods, language and trading hours follow it.
- Funnel
- Reach → click → registration → FTD → active trader, with a measurable drop at every step.
- Hedge / multi-account abuse
- Opposite trades on linked accounts or duplicate accounts — detected automatically, voids commission.
- Clawback
- A paid reward taken back (e.g. an approved YouTube video deleted after payout).
- KYC
- Identity verification of a trader; only KYC-verified sign-ups count for the Luxury Tour contest.
- Video reward
- $25 for every approved 10-minute YouTube video about Bynix with your link in the description.
- Creator contest
- The $5,000 prize pool for the best YouTube videos about Bynix.
- Influencer marketing
- Paying a creator who already has your audience (YouTube, TikTok, Telegram, Instagram) to show Bynix through your link; tracked with one sub-ID per creator.
- Micro-influencer
- A creator with roughly 5,000–50,000 real followers — usually the best conversion per dollar because the audience answers DMs and trusts recommendations.
- Brief
- The one-page instruction you give a creator or agency: what to show, what never to say (no income promises), your sub-ID link and the Telegram channel to send people to.
- CPM
- Cost per 1,000 ad impressions — how Telegram Ads and most display / video placements are priced.
- CPC
- Cost per click on an ad; the main price you watch on Meta, Google and X in the first days of a test.
- CPL / cost per lead
- Ad spend divided by leads (Telegram joins, form fills) — the ad platform's view of your funnel.
- CPA / cost per FTD
- Ad spend divided by first-time deposits — the number that decides whether a paid campaign scales. Keep it under ~40% of the 90-day value of a trader in that GEO.
- ROAS
- Return on ad spend — commission earned divided by money spent on ads, usually measured over 30–90 days because revenue share keeps paying.
- Pixel / Conversions API
- The tracking code (Meta Pixel, Google Tag, X Pixel) on your landing page that reports clicks and leads back to the ad platform; the Conversions API sends the same events server-side so iOS users are not lost.
- Lookalike audience
- An ad-platform audience built from people similar to your leads or registrations — the usual next step after 50+ conversions on Meta.
- Landing page
- Your own page or Telegram channel between the ad and the Bynix link — required by the ad platforms' financial rules and the place where questions get answered before the deposit.
- Agency / whitelisted account
- An ad account owned by a performance agency with higher trust, spend limits and (for Google / X) financial-services certification; your affiliate manager can introduce agencies that work with Bynix partners.
- Ad moderation / disapproval
- The platform review every ad passes. In this niche, ads that name a broker, show results or promise returns are disapproved; educational wording about your own channel passes.
